Terms of Use

1. Accepting these terms

By using Kudos Hub, creating an account or posting kudos, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

You must be 16 or older to create an account or post kudos. If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian agrees to you using Kudos Hub and to these terms.

2. What Kudos Hub is not

• We do not check practitioners. We do not verify anyone's identity, qualifications, licences, permits, training, safety, hygiene, prices or availability. A practitioner appearing on Kudos Hub is not an endorsement or recommendation by us.
• We do not check what reviewers say. Kudos are the personal opinions of the people who wrote them. We cannot confirm that any kudos is accurate, complete, current or genuine.
• "Verified" on a kudos only means the reviewer signed in with a working email address or Google account. It does not mean we checked the visit, the treatment or the review.
• Nothing on Kudos Hub is medical, health, legal or other professional advice. For medical and aesthetic treatments (for example injectables, laser, physiotherapy or nutrition), check the practitioner's qualifications and licences yourself and consult a qualified doctor.
• We are not part of any arrangement between you and a practitioner. Any booking, payment, treatment, result or dispute is solely between you and them. Kudos Hub does not take bookings or payments.

3. Kudos Hub shows positive experiences only

By design, the site only publishes positive kudos. This means it does not give a complete or balanced picture of any practitioner, and the absence of complaints tells you nothing.

4. Your decisions are your own

You use Kudos Hub and any information on it entirely at your own risk. You alone are responsible for choosing a practitioner and for checking that they are suitable, qualified and licensed for what you want.

5. Posting kudos

When you post kudos, you confirm that:

• it describes your own real experience with that practitioner;
• it is honest and not misleading;
• you are not the practitioner, and not their employee, relative or business partner, and you were not paid, rewarded or asked in exchange for a reward to post it;
• it contains no phone numbers, addresses, links, advertising, or private information about anyone;
• it contains nothing offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, defamatory or unlawful, and nothing that infringes anyone's rights;
• it makes no medical claims, such as promises of cures or guaranteed results;
• any photos are yours, and anyone who appears in them agreed to be shared.

You are solely responsible for what you post and for its consequences.

6. Moderation and removal

Kudos appear on the site as soon as they are posted, without being checked first. We may review, remove or edit the formatting of any kudos, photo, practitioner listing or account afterwards, at any time, for any reason or none, and without notice. Automated tools help us spot posts that may break these terms.

We are not obliged to publish anything, and we do not promise to catch every post that breaks these terms.

7. Reporting content and practitioner requests

If you believe a kudos is false, unlawful or breaks these terms, email hello@kudoshub.app with the link and your reason. We will look at it and may remove it.

Practitioners are listed because members of the community posted about them. If you are a practitioner and want information about you corrected or your listing removed, email hello@kudoshub.app. We review requests in good faith.

Practitioners who want their own booking and payment app can download Bookit Business from the App Store or Google Play, or contact go@bookit-app.com. Bookit is a separate service with its own terms, and Kudos Hub is not responsible for it.

8. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. You give Kudos Hub a free, worldwide, non-exclusive and transferable licence to host, store, display, reproduce, translate, resize and share it on Kudos Hub and when promoting Kudos Hub (for example on social media).

You can ask us to delete your kudos at any time. Copies that others have already shared, and backups kept for a short period, may remain.

9. Your account

Keep your email and Google account secure; you are responsible for activity on your Kudos Hub account. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these terms, or that we reasonably suspect of posting fake or paid kudos.

10. No warranties

Kudos Hub is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, reliability, completeness, availability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that any content will be kept.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kudos Hub and the person who runs it are not liable for any loss or damage of any kind arising from or connected with:

• your use of, or reliance on, Kudos Hub or anything on it;
• any practitioner's services, conduct, qualifications, licences, prices or results;
• any kudos, photo or other content posted by users;
• any interruption, error, security breach or loss of data.

This includes direct, indirect, incidental, special and consequential loss, personal injury, and loss of money, data, opportunity or reputation.

12. Your responsibility to us

You agree to compensate Kudos Hub and the person who runs it for any claim, loss, cost or legal fee brought by anyone, including practitioners, that arises from content you post, your breach of these terms, or your breach of the law.

13. Other websites

Kudos Hub links to Instagram, Google Maps and other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, services or privacy practices.

14. Changes

We may update these terms at any time; the date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using Kudos Hub after a change, you accept the updated terms. We may change, suspend or close Kudos Hub at any time.

15. Law and language

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and the courts of Cairo have jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.

These terms are available in English and Arabic. If the two differ, the English version prevails.
